Beyond Words
Written while Calloway struggled with chronic homelessness, “Beyond Words” is the first official single from his upcoming gospel project. The bridge features the international classic “O Store Gud,“ translated from Carl Boberg’s original Swedish by Calloway and interpolating it with the hymn “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” by Joseph M. Scriven (lyrics) and Charles Crozat Converse (music).
