Ram. Like the verb.

RAM (Like the Verb) - During the casting process for a reality series, an openly gay Asian actor reconciles his sexuality with his career struggles.

This project has been a true labor of love, spanning over five years. Ram Takada, portrayed by the amazing Charlit Dae, became a standout character in the second season of Pretty Dudes. He was beefy, sassy, and absolutely fabulous—truly a scene-stealer and a pivotal emotional anchor. If you’re reading this, there’s a good possibility you know what prevented Ram’s debut in the eagerly awaited season. We lost a significant portion of filmed footage just weeks before the pandemic hit and after that, well, survival for most of us became the priority.

RAM (Like the Verb) emerged from the footage I was able to salvage, along with a new framing narrative that Charlit embraced wholeheartedly. A rotoscoped animation, RAM serves as a testament to the incredible collaborations consistent within the extended Pretty Dudes community and Charlit’s amazing work. Throughout this process, I've been immensely thankful to Charlit for placing trust in the idea that Ram's story could still be conveyed through a different and equally compelling format.

Featuring the voice of Yennaedo Balloo and co-starring my Dudes Kyle Rezzarday as Alexander and Yoshi Sudarso as Sunji Spencer, RAM (Like the Verb) will premiere soon.
